Terms of Use

Last updated: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the lexvault.associates website (the “Site”). Use of the LexVault software itself is governed separately by the written pilot or license agreement between LexVault and your firm; where that agreement and these Terms conflict, that agreement controls.

LexVault is software, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice or legal services. Nothing on this Site is legal advice, and using the Site does not create an attorney–client relationship with anyone.

1. Who may use the Site

The Site is intended for licensed attorneys, law firms, and their staff evaluating drafting and verification software. It is not intended for self-represented individuals seeking legal help.

2. Informational content, no warranty

The Site and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available,” for general information only. Product descriptions are informational and may change without notice. We do not warrant that the Site will be accurate, complete, current, or uninterrupted, and we disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. No outcome or accuracy guarantee

LexVault does not guarantee any legal outcome, nor the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any draft, citation, or other output of the software. Any verification report the software produces is an aid; a licensed attorney must independently confirm all facts, citations, and authority before use, and remains solely responsible for the work product and any filing or communication.

4. Intellectual property

The Site’s content, design, wordmark, and other materials are owned by LexVault or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may view the Site for your own evaluation; no other license is granted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, or scrape it in a way that burdens its operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LexVault will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
